Every digital nomad visas, in detail
Digital Nomad Visa (V Visa)
Low ~$900–1,000/mo. Valid up to 2 years. As a V-type visa, time does NOT count toward residency or citizenship. Very affordable cost of living.
Official source →Temporary residence (self-employment)
Serbia has NOT launched a dedicated digital-nomad visa (the '$3,500/mo DNV' was only discussed). The working route for remote workers is temporary residence + a unified work permit based on self-employment/company registration under the 2024 Law on Foreigners. No fixed statutory income figure — you show sufficient means (entrepreneur route commonly cites ~EUR 1,000+ available). Temporary residence now up to 3 years; leads to PR after ~5 years and citizenship after ~5 years, so unlike most nomad visas this route DOES build residency.
Official source →Digital Nomad Visa (VITEM XIV)
$1,500/mo OR ~$18,000 savings. Renewable once. Doesn't directly grant PR, but you can pursue other residence categories from inside Brazil.
Official source →Premium Visa
Free; ~$1,500/mo per adult ($500/mo per child). Renewable. Foreign income untaxed unless remitted to Mauritius. Not a direct PR route.
Official source →Remote Working Program
Remote Working Program requires a 6-month average bank balance of min. EUR 1,500 (~US$1,615) for individuals, or EUR 2,700 (~US$2,900) with family. Valid 6 months, renewable for another 6 (1 year total). Eligible only to citizens of Europe, North America, CPLP (Portuguese-speaking countries) and ECOWAS. Very low fees. No local tax on foreign income; no residency path.
Official source →Remotely from Georgia
$2,000/mo OR $24,000 savings. Many nationalities can already stay visa-free 365 days. Territorial tax: foreign income untaxed. Not a PR route.
Official source →DE Rantau Nomad Pass
~$24,000/yr for IT/digital professionals and freelancers. Up to 12 months, renewable once. Not a PR route (MM2H is the long-stay program).
Official source →Digital Nomad Visa
Administered by the Namibia Investment Promotion and Development Board. Requires proof of income of US$2,000/month for the main applicant, +US$1,000/mo for a spouse, +US$500/mo per child (6-month bank statement). Grants a 6-month stay, NON-renewable (reapplication possible 12 months after expiry). Visa fee ~NAD 3,300 (~$190) on arrival. Requires valid international health/travel insurance; remote work for non-Namibian companies only.
Official source →Digital Nomad Visa
Launched Feb 2026. Per the official Dept. of Immigration & Emigration document: minimum monthly remittance of US$2,000 for the main applicant, +US$500/mo per dependent beyond 2. Valid 1 year, renewable annually; fee US$500/yr per person. No local employment permitted; foreign-source income only. Some 2026 press reports claim a cut to $1,500/mo plus a 5-year option, but this is NOT reflected in the official immigration.gov.lk document, so the verified $2,000/1-year figures are used here.
Official source →Digital Nomad Visa
~$2,500/mo (loosely defined). 6 months, extendable once. Argentina's general citizenship rules are unusually lenient (2 years' residence) but not via this visa.
Official source →Digital nomad residence permit
Income bar is 3x the Montenegrin minimum wage: in 2026 roughly EUR 1,800/mo (~$1,980) without a degree or EUR 2,400/mo (~$2,650) with a bachelor's, via 3-6 months of statements. Residence permit up to 2 years, extendable a further 2 (4-year max). 0% tax on foreign-source income. Close family can join via reunification. IMPORTANT: the digital-nomad program is currently scheduled to EXPIRE Dec 31, 2026 unless renewed, and nomad time does NOT count toward permanent residency or citizenship.
Official source →Digital Nomad Residence Permit
~€2,540/mo. Up to 18 months; time does NOT count toward PR/citizenship and you must leave 6 months before reapplying. Foreign income is locally tax-exempt.
Official source →Digital Nomad / Remote Worker Visa
~€28k–32k/yr plus health insurance and ~6 months' experience; for highly-qualified work. Renewable and can count toward the 10-year citizenship route.
Official source →Digital Nomad Visa (Estancia)
$3,000/mo ($4,000 with family). Renewable once. Foreign income tax-exempt; equipment duty-free. Doesn't count toward PR.
Official source →Neo Nomad Visa
The Neo Nomad Visa (category B12-1) launched 1 Nov 2024 for remote workers earning from foreign employers/clients. Requires proof of at least US$3,000/month (6 months of bank statements), medical insurance for the full stay, and a clean criminal record. Valid 1 year, extendable a further year without leaving Kazakhstan. No local employment or Kazakh-source income permitted.
Official source →Digital Nomad Visa
Per Turkey's official GoTurkiye platform you must show foreign-sourced income of at least $3,000/mo ($36,000/yr), be aged 21-55, AND hold a university degree (degree is mandatory — unusual). You get a Digital Nomad Identification Certificate online, then finalize at a consulate. Grants a short-term residence permit (typically 1-2 yrs, renewable). Legal residence counts toward the 8-year long-term permit and citizenship (eligible after 5 yrs). Staying 183+ days triggers Turkish tax residency on worldwide income.
Official source →Digital Nomad Visa (Startups Law)
~€2,850/mo (200% of minimum wage). Renewable to 5 years then PR; citizenship after 10 (2 for Ibero-American nationals). Beckham-regime flat 24% tax option.
Official source →Freiberufler (Freelance) Permit
No dedicated nomad visa; the freelance permit is the route. Must show self-support (~€3,000+/mo typical) and German clients/economic interest. PR ~3 yrs, citizenship ~5.
Official source →White Card (digital nomad residence)
The 'White Card' requires net monthly income of at least EUR 3,000 (~$3,300) for the 6 months before entry, maintained throughout. Valid 1 year, extendable only ONCE for a second year (hard 2-year cap). Family reunification is explicitly NOT permitted, and the White Card does NOT lead to permanent residency — so no PR or citizenship path. You may not work for a Hungarian employer or hold shares in a Hungarian company.
Official source →Remote Work Visitor Visa
The Remote Work Visitor Visa was gazetted with a minimum gross income of ZAR 650,796/year (~$3,330/mo; proven via 3 months of statements), effective Oct 2024, applications opened March 2025 — reduced from an initially-proposed ZAR 1,000,000. Valid up to 3 years. TAX TRIGGER: staying more than 6 months within any 36-month period requires SARS registration and local income tax. For foreign remote employers only.
Official source →Virtual Working Programme (Dubai)
$3,500/mo; from Jan 2026 needs 6 months of bank statements. Zero personal income tax. Renewable annually but no PR/citizenship.
Official source →Digital Nomad Visa
~€3,500/mo (+20% spouse, +15% per child). Convertible to a 2-year residence permit on arrival; a 50% income-tax cut for 7 years if you move tax residency.
Official source →Nomad Residence Permit
~€3,500/mo. Renewable up to 4 years but does NOT lead to PR. Flat 10% tax on foreign remote income after year one.
Official source →Digital Nomad Visa
Requires stable net monthly income of at least EUR 3,500 (~$3,850) from foreign employers/clients; the bar rises +20% for a spouse and +15% per child. Permit valid 1 year, renewable up to 2 more (3-year total). Capped at 500 permits total, which can fill up. Family may accompany but their time gives no work rights. Nomad years generally do NOT count toward PR; staying 183+ days triggers Cyprus tax residency (though non-dom rules are favorable).
Official source →D8 Digital Nomad Visa
Requires ~€3,680/mo (4x Portuguese minimum wage). PR after 5 years; a 2026 reform pushed citizenship from 5 to ~10 years. You become taxable on worldwide income once tax-resident.
Official source →Nomad Digital Residence (NDR)
Nomad Digital Residence (NDR) requires expected income of min. US$50,000/yr (~US$4,167/mo) for each of the 2 years. Valid up to 2 years, non-renewable (one-time). Fees: US$1,500 single / US$2,000 couple / US$3,000 family of 3+. No income tax for holders; no residency/citizenship path (that is the separate Antigua CBI investment program).
Official source →Work In Nature (WIN) Extended Stay Visa
Work In Nature (WIN) Extended Stay Visa requires expected income of min. US$50,000 over the next 12 months (~US$4,167/mo), or sufficient means to support applicant + family. Valid up to 18 months. Fees: US$100 application + US$800 visa (US$900 single / US$1,200 family). No income/capital-gains/dividend tax during stay; no residency/citizenship path (separate from Dominica's CBI investment program).
Official source →12-Month Welcome Stamp
~$50,000/yr. Renewable but no PR. No local income tax on foreign earnings; flat application fee ($2,000 single / $3,000 family).
Official source →Temporary Resident Visa
~$4,400/mo income (6 mo) OR ~$74,000 savings (12 mo). Renewable to 4 years then PR; citizenship after 5. 2026 fees roughly doubled.
Official source →Remote-work long-stay visa
Latvia's remote-work long-stay visa requires monthly income of at least 2.5x the prior-year average gross salary = EUR 4,213 (~$4,650) — one of the steepest nomad bars in Europe. Critical limit: your employer (or your own registered business) must be based in an OECD member country, and you must have worked with them 6+ months. Valid 1 year, extendable once. Recipients have NO right to take local Latvian employment, and as a visa (not a residence-permit track) it does not itself build toward PR.
Official source →Digital Nomad Visa (Type D)
~€4,500/mo gross (raised in 2026). A long-stay visa, not a residence permit, so it does NOT lead to settlement. Not the same as e-Residency.
Official source →Remote Worker Visa (E33G)
~$60,000/yr income. Valid 1 year, renewable once. Foreign income untaxed if you stay a non-tax-resident. Popular for Bali. Not a PR route.
Official source →Employment Gold Card
A 4-in-1 permit (work + resident visa + ARC + re-entry) for foreign professionals — the standard route for remote high-earners, not a traditional nomad visa. The Economy field qualifies at an average monthly salary of NTD 160,000 (~$5,000/mo); 11 other professional fields (science, tech, arts, education...) qualify without the salary bar. Valid 1-3 years, renewable. 2026 amendments made it easier to qualify and faster to convert to APRC permanent residence (Gold Card time counts). Favorable remittance-based tax treatment on foreign income in early years.
Official source →Digital Nomad Visa
High bar: ~¥10M/yr (~$64,000). Only 6 months and non-renewable (leave and wait 6 months to reapply). A short-stay option, not a residency track.
Official source →Workation Visa (F-1-D)
The F-1-D 'Workation' visa became a permanent program on 30 June 2026 after a two-year pilot. Standard income requirement is ~2x Korea's GNI per capita (~$65,800/yr, ≈$5,480/mo); reduced to ~1x GNI (~$36,963/yr) for applicants aged 18-34 who reside OUTSIDE Seoul, Incheon, and Gyeonggi. Requires private health insurance covering >=$75,000 for treatment + repatriation. Max stay 3 years (issued 1yr, renewable). Only remote work for foreign employers/clients; spouse and dependent children may accompany.
Official source →Digital Nomad Visa (D/AD)
Income bar is 3x Romania's average gross monthly salary, recalculated yearly — for 2026 roughly RON 26,730-29,604/mo (~$5,800-6,500), shown for the prior 6 months. One of Europe's highest nomad thresholds. The D/AD visa is issued up to 12 months and renewable; at renewal the bar drops to 1x average salary. Family applies for reunification ~3 months after approval. PR after 5 yrs continuous residence; citizenship after 8 yrs. Romania joined Schengen (land borders) in 2025.
Official source →Work Where You Vacation
Work Where You Vacation requires min. US$75,000/yr income (~US$6,250/mo) for individuals, or US$100,000/yr with dependents; open to citizens/residents of the US, Canada, UK and EU. Max stay 180 days, renewable. Requires US$50,000 travel-insurance coverage and a clean record. Territorial tax = no Belize tax on foreign income; no residency path.
Official source →Živno (freelance / trade-licence) long-stay visa
The 'Zivno' is a long-stay visa for business/self-employment (you hold a Czech trade licence), the route remote freelancers use. No fixed monthly-income bar; instead prove savings of 50x the subsistence minimum = 156,500 CZK (~$6,850) in your account. Initial visa max 1 year, extendable; time counts toward PR (usually 5 yrs) and citizenship (~10 yrs). The subsistence minimum is being revised in 2026, which can raise the CZK figure — verify the current number before applying.
Official source →Destination Thailand Visa (DTV)
No income floor; ~500,000 THB (~$14,500) in savings seasoned 3+ months. A 5-year multi-entry visa, 180 days per stay. Over 180 days/yr can trigger Thai tax residency.
Official source →Work Remotely in Anguilla
Work Remotely in Anguilla grants a 12-month permit; application fee US$2,000 for the primary applicant (extra for dependents). No fixed minimum income, but requires proof of remote work for a non-Anguillan employer/clients, health insurance, and a clean record. No residency/citizenship path. No income, capital-gains, or corporate tax.
Official source →Extended Access Travel Stay (BEATS)
Bahamas Extended Access Travel Stay (BEATS) 'Work Remotely' permit is valid 12 months and renewable (up to ~3 years total). Official source →@HOME in Curaçao
@HOME in Curacao permits a 6-month stay, renewable once (12 months total). No fixed minimum income — applicants must show they can work remotely for a foreign employer/clients/own foreign company and support themselves. Application cost ~ANG 535 (~US$300). No local income tax on foreign-earned income; no residency/citizenship path.
Official source →Workcation Retreat Program
The Workcation Retreat Program is for remote employees, freelancers, and business owners earning foreign-source income. There is NO fixed minimum income published — applicants show 'proof of income or funds sufficient for the stay' plus confirmed accommodation, an onward ticket, and valid medical/travel insurance. Valid up to 1 year; apply at least 60 days before arrival, fee ~EUR 45, often approved within a day. No local tax on foreign income for the permit duration.
Official source →Digital Nomad Visa
No fixed income floor; sign a declaration of means. 6+6 months, then transition to residency, which counts toward citizenship (~3–5 yrs). Multi-year foreign-income tax holiday.
